The Mains Physical Therapy Experience

About:

Mains Physical Therapy was founded by Doctor of Physical Therapy Cassandra Mains, PT, DPT, CMTPT, FMT in order to provide increased access to skilled physical therapy services to rural areas. Cassandra Mains received her Doctorate from Creighton University and was born and raised in rural Kansas. She has 11 years experience in physical therapy including outpatient rural health for all ages and skilled-nursing care with primary focus in orthopedics. She is a certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist for dry needling, and has been providing specialized dry needling treatments for 6 years. She is also certified in Rock Fascial Movement Taping and is a credentialed Clinical Education Instructor. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2009, and advocates for community education and interdisciplinary teamwork. She was a guest speaker for Smokey Hill Public television’s Doctors on Call, KRSL radio information segment, and the Kansas Athletic Trainers’ Symposium. She has additional training in manual therapy, tempo mandibular dysfunction (jaw pain), vertigo treatment (dizziness), tension headaches, and many more.

Mission:

Mains Physical Therapy’s mission is to provide local availability to quality, compassionate, and skilled physical therapy health care rehabilitation services to Halstead KS and surrounding rural areas. Together, we will strive to relieve pain, improve function, and aid in recovery from surgery and injury. By collaborating with all of your health care professionals, we strive to achieve goals, manage long-term dysfunction or pain, and provide clients the tools for self management.
